Opioid Funds to Date 8.22.25

County of Montmorency Opioid Remediation Information

The County of Montmorency Board of Commissioners have set up the following uses for the Opioid Settlement Funds that the County will be receiving from the settlement. 
  • Montmorency County will no longer have monthly steering committee meetings.
  • The County of Montmorency will be working primarily as the fiduciary for the funds and all decisions for funding will be decided by the Board of Commissioners.
  • The County will continue to provide rent payments for use of the meeting spaces for recovery.
  • The County will no longer be involved in any coordination of recovery meetings.
  • Gas cards will be distributed to TBCHS and Catholic Human Services to be utilized for their peer recovery groups.
  • Applications for fund requests for use on opioid remediation is posted here for area agencies to utilize. 
    • Applications will be submitted to the Controller’s office and distributed to the BOC for review and final approval; they must meet the requirements in Exhibit E of the County's settlement. 
  • Narcan dispensers will be maintained in the County by area agencies.
