Montmorency County only maintains records of births and deaths that occurred in Montmorency County and marriages that were applied for in Montmorency County. Many records are available to anyone. Michigan birth records less than 100 years old are restricted; only certain individuals can obtain copies. In certain circumstances, a $5.00 search fee may apply. There is a $10.00 fee for the first certified copy and $5.00 for each additional copy of the same record ordered at the same time.
