Montmorency County has committed $150,000 of their American Rescue Plan-State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (ARPA-SLFRF) funds received from the federal government. The program will kick off on Monday March 7, 2022. The US Treasury Department has specified eligibility requirements. Eligible employees:
Must fall under a list of sectors and occupations
Have not been offered telework
Had regular in-person interactions with the public or physical handling of public items.
The maximum amount allocated per application is $500 and based on weeks worked within the eligible time period.
Montmorency County has committed $250,000 of their American Rescue Plan Act-State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (ARPA-SLFRF) funds received from the federal government. The maximum grant amount has been set at $8,000.00 which (if disbursed at maximum for each applicant) would provide relief to over 31 local businesses.
Since the launch of the Small Business Grant Program on March 7th, 2022 $209,300 has been awarded. As of May 12, 2022, there are funds available for at least 4 more small business recipients. Get your application in soon.
