The Controller’s Office was established January 13, 2022 by the Board of Commissioners to provide financial, budgetary, personnel, and other administrative services. As County Controller, the department functions under the Michigan Controllers Act, Public Act 257 of 1927, as amended. The Controller serves as the County’s Chief Administrative and Financial Officer. The Controller works closely with the Board of Commissioners researching and developing procedures for County policies. This Office has the task of developing systems and programs that will enable the County to provide more effective and efficient services to our citizens.
